Druk Path Trek – Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrive Paro – relax & acclimatize
- Altitude: ~2,200 m
- Activity: Drive (Airport → Hotel) / Short Walks
- Accommodation: Hotel Olathang in Paro
- Highlights: Paro town walk, short hikes, prepare permits, and relax to adjust to altitude.
- Meals: Dinner
Day 2 – Acclimatization hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest)
- Altitude: ~3,000 m (Highest Point)
- Activity: Trekking
- Accommodation: Hotel Olathang in Paro
- Highlights: Hike to the sacred Tiger’s Nest monastery, perched on a cliff.
- Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Day 3 – Paro → Jele Dzong
- Altitude: ~3,400 m
- Activity: Trekking (~10 km / 4–6 hrs)
- Accommodation: Campsite near Jele Dzong (serviced camping with tents and crew)
- Highlights: Climb through alpine forests. First views of Mt. Jumolhari (weather permitting).

Day 4 – Jele Dzong → Jangchulakha
- Altitude: ~3,770 m
- Activity: Trekking (~10 km / 3–4 hrs)

Day 5 – Jangchulakha → Jimilang Tsho Lake
