Your privacy matters. We collect only the information required to deliver your trip safely and efficiently—such as contact details, passport/visa information, health and dietary needs, and payment information.
– We use this data to:
– Arrange your itinerary, permits, and reservations.
– Communicate important trip updates.
– Ensure your safety during travel.
– We never sell your information. Data is only shared with trusted partners (hotels, guides, transport providers) when necessary.
– Data is stored securely in compliance with applicable laws (IT Act, GDPR standards).

Reservation & Payment
Booking your trip with us is straightforward:
1. Choose your trip & submit a request.
2. Receive a detailed proposal and quote.
3. Customize your itinerary (fee-free changes before confirmation).
4. Confirm your booking.
5. Pay your deposit and receive final confirmation.
**Payment Terms**
– Early bookings (45+ days): 30% deposit, balance due 15 days before departure.
– Late bookings (within 45 days): full payment required.
– Payments via secure bank transfer.
**Cancellations & Refunds**
– 30+ days → Full refund
– 15–29 days → 95% refund
– 7–14 days → 70% refund
– 2–6 days → 50% refund
– <24 hours → No refund
– During travel → refunds only at Summit Routes’ discretion
Note: Airline, hotel, or permit fees are non-refundable if already issued.
Children’s Policy
– Ages 0–2: 10% of total price
– Ages 2–5: 50% (extra bed in parents’ room)
– Ages 6–11: 70% (extra bed in parents’ room)
– Ages 12+: Adult fare
Company & Client Responsibilities
**Our responsibility:**
– Provide safe, well-planned trips with reliable local partners.
– Ensure reasonable standards of transport, accommodation, and guiding.
**Your responsibility:**
– Follow local laws, respect cultural norms, and comply with safety instructions.
– Accept that standards may differ from your home country.
– Acknowledge that unforeseen factors (weather, natural events, political unrest) may alter itineraries.
Liability Limitations
– Our responsibility begins when you meet your guide at the official start point.
– We are not liable for costs incurred reaching the meeting point, or after you leave the tour.
– Summit Routes is not liable for personal loss, injury, or damage caused by third parties, force majeure, or conditions beyond our control.
Travel Insurance (Mandatory)
All participants must hold valid travel insurance covering:
Medical treatment & evacuation
Personal accident & repatriation
Trip cancellation or delays
Loss of baggage & personal effects
Travel Documents
You are responsible for holding a valid passport, visas, and permits. Summit Routes will assist with trekking/climbing permits, but failure to present valid documents will result in denied participation without refund.
Acceptance of Risk
By booking with us, you acknowledge:
– Adventure travel involves physical exertion, altitude, and unpredictability.
– You are fit to participate, or have provided a medical clearance if requested.
– Risks are inherent and cannot be entirely eliminated.
Compliance with Local Laws
All travelers must comply with immigration, customs, and local regulations. Any breach may result in removal from the tour without refund.
Complaints & Feedback
We value your feedback. If any issue arises:
1. Report it immediately to your trip leader.
2. If unresolved, submit a written complaint during or within 7 days of your tour.
3. We will review and respond promptly.
